Replaced the gas valve on an AO Smith water heater in Pleasant View, UT. The existing valve was malfunctioning, causing irregular gas flow and preventing proper heating. After safely shutting off the gas supply, I removed the faulty valve and installed a new one, ensuring secure connections to the gas line and thermocouple. Once installed, I tested the system to confirm proper ignition and consistent water heating, restoring the water heater to full functionality.
